These are old news, but this deserves a mention again since Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver were released today in Japan!

New 2D Sonic Game Confirmed

No, you didn't misread that title, and yes, if you look out of the window right now, you may spot one or two feathered pigs making their way by. If you haven't yet completely given up on Sega and Sonic, and even if you have, but loved the fantastic original games, you can now cry tears of pure joy as Sega has finally given the true fans what they have been crying out for for over 10 years, as on the dawn of the 10th anniversary of the Sega Dreamcast they have officially unveiled a new 2D and HD Sonic coming to consoles in 2010!

It's unconfirmed what consoles it will be...
